My sunglasses

Hey guys,

Since I am going away in a week (so damn excited!) and because Turkey is currently in summer I've been going through my sunglasses to decide which ones to take with me.
I don't have much of a collection but I did decide to show you guys what I do own.

Starting with my Quay Australia collection, I have four pairs.

Frankie:

Modstar:

Isabell:

My girl:

I also have another two pairs which I purchased from a boutique:

1:

2:

Lastly, the final pair that I own is one of the first ones I brought actually from a store at uni and its definitely one of my favs!

The reason that I have purchased so many sunglasses within a few months  is firstly I'm going away in a month to the northern hemisphere which means SUMMER=SUN=SUNNIES (alliteration at its best :))
Also I was never one of those people who are concerned with my face shape and what sunglasses suits my face or doesn't. I always believe that if you like it you can wear it! Why do you or me or anyone else have to put up with these rules of face shape or whatever.
Trust me if you like it and feel confident, that confidence will ooze out of you and you will rock those sunnies and no one will even notice if 'they match your face shape'.

This was not planned out as motivational post, but take what you want from it :)
Maybe for you its just a haul post, maybe a sunglasses collection post or the motivation you need to buy those sunglasses you always wanted.
Take care.

Birthday outfit

I recently went to a birthday party and wanted to share my outfit choice with you guys. Keep in mind that the dress code was casual. I didn't want to wear jeans and a jumper and go, so I decided to put together something different yet keeping it casual. I love to try different combinations with my outfits. Combining different patterns, colours and textures is always a good idea-especially when its cold. Hopefully, this post will inspire you to try different pieces to create your own masterpiece.

This is what I wore:

My sweater is an old sweater. I've had it for quite some time from Supre. Underneath I have a shiffon button up shirt also from Supre. The idea of this is to layer up to add dimension to the outfit.

My skirt is a from a random boutique. I had brought it about two years ago when I was overseas. I had to pair it with some black stockings as it is currently pretty cold in Australia.

For shoes I chose my black high heeled boots, which I'm obsessed with and they are from Kmart (sidenote:super cheap but really comfy).

Hope you enjoyed this post

Palazzo Pants x2

If you've been reading my blog, you would know one of my first posts were palazzo pants. I've invested more money into a few more. I've picked two that are more vibrant and unconventional. I paired both with a white crop top in order to keep the pants a statement.
The first pair  I'm wearing is very colourful and has a belt that is in the same pattern. I tied it so that the knot is on the side, which I think is the most flattering way to tie it. I really love this pair because it has great colours and the pattern on it is amazing. This will be the perfect outfit for anyone who wants to be comfy and still look like they put an effort.

The second pair is made up of two colours;beige and petroleum blue. It is a lot more structure than the first pair as it zips around the waist. The pattern on it is beautiful it reminds me of mosaic tiles in ancient buildings. For both combinations I chose to pair them with comfortable footwear as I wore them during the day. However, if you are thinking of wearing these pants for an evening occasion it would look absolutely in place with some great heels.

I am highly aware that Australia is currently experiencing some cold winter days. For that reason in order to transform these outfits replace the crop top with a simple white knit and also wear leggings inside the palazzo pants for extra layering. I have styled it like that before if you want to see a picture head over my Instagram (Link in above tab). Also, don't forget a cardigan!
Before I wrap up this posts I should mention that both pants are from ICE. It is a store in Australia that is so affordable. However, for those that aren't able to find it in ICE or do not have access to one of their stores I found alternative sites that sell palazzo pants. Click on the links below. Hopefully, you'll be able to access them as I am obsessed. Thank you for reading this post. Much appreciated.
